We honor and keep the memory of the great Victory. We are proud of our people and army. We pay tribute to the memory of people who defended our culture and our view of the world at the cost of their lives.
And today the symbol of our gratitude is the most beautiful tree - the apple tree "Royal Beauty", which my colleagues and I planted.
A tree is an amazing symbol because it has roots, trunk and leaves. The roots are what was laid by our generation of winners. The trunk is what we are doing today, our generation, which is now building our modern life. And the future, the foliage that will be born in this garden, in these trees, are the grandchildren of memory.
