The final stage of one of the country's most significant youth tournaments, the Russian Children's Chess Cup, has started in Izhevsk.
This tournament has a special significance for the guys: it is here that the participants of the individual championship of Russia in 2026 will be determined. Athletes who take 1-3 places will have the right to compete at the national championship as the main participants.
And the winners who manage to win the first places, according to the decision of the Russian Chess Federation, will represent the country at the World Championship or the Asian Championship in 2026 in their age categories.
We are glad to see young chess players, their coaches and parents at the walls of AMAKS Tsentralnaya and wish each participant confidence, inspiration and beautiful games!
