Here it is, the long-awaited date when you go on a trip! It doesn't matter how long it lasts: one day, several weeks or months. The main thing is that you come back with vivid impressions, a charge of strength and energy. But minor or major troubles on the road can happen to anyone, so we advise you not to lose your head, but to listen to the advice of seasoned travelers and observe at least the minimum requirements of safety and common sense.

1. Purchase a body bag for documents

One of the most common problems of travelers is the loss of documents. A small document bag, which will be attached to the belt and easily hidden under the shirt, will be the best remedy for forgetfulness. You can also put credit cards there.

2. Do not keep money and documents together

Although documents are also stolen quite often, but mostly as a random "bonus" to the wallet. Our advice: do not keep money and documents in one place. Of course, it is also a shame to part with a certain amount through the efforts of clever pluckers, but it takes much longer and more troublesome to restore lost documents.

3. Do not carry large amounts of cash with you

If you go to popular tourist centers, problems with ATMs are unlikely to arise there. Of course, you may lose a little on currency fluctuations, but you will save your own nerve cells.

4. Do not forget about veterinary certificates

Are you used to traveling with the whole family, including four-legged friends? To prevent your pet from being stopped at the border at the last moment, make sure that you have prepared all the necessary documents and certificates.

5. Write down useful contacts

In the Internet age, it seems that any information will always be at hand. But the circumstances may be different. The phone tends to run out of battery or break down at the most crucial moment, not to mention that it can simply be lost. Make a list of useful contacts for yourself: let it be the address and phone number of the Russian Consulate, several phone numbers of relatives, the address of your temporary residence (hotel or rented apartment), a couple of taxi services and an emergency telephone number. The rest is at your discretion.

6. Assemble a first aid kit

We do not urge you to bring medicines for all occasions, but you will be grateful for your own foresight if you take a Band-Aid, antipyretics, activated charcoal and remedies for headaches, heartburn and poisoning.

7. Download useful applications

You will definitely be called a dark and lagging person if you do not download a couple of fashionable and useful travel apps.
